How to get to Arjeplog

Whether you’re travelling from elsewhere in Sweden or from abroad, Arjeplog can be reached by a combination of flights, trains, buses and taxis. Below you’ll find practical information to help you plan your journey.

Trains

 

With SJ night trains from major Swedish cities (e.g., Stockholm or Gothenburg), you can reach northern hubs like Jörn or Arvidsjaur. More info: https://www.sj.se

Bus connections

Regional buses run from places like Skellefteå, Luleå, Piteå, Umeå and Arvidsjaur to Arjeplog with Länstrafiken Norrbotten — check timetables for up-to-date schedules.

Flights

 

✈️ Arvidsjaur Airport (AJR) – The closest airport to Arjeplog (≈ 100 km away). You can fly here from Stockholm Arlanda with airline PopulAir and then take a special flight taxi or rental car to Arjeplog (approx. 1 hr 15 min) once you land. More info: https://www.arvidsjaurairport.se/transport/


✈️ Luleå Airport (LLA) – Around 3 hours from Arjeplog by bus or car; regular domestic and some international connections are available. More info: https://www.swedavia.com/lulea/


✈️ Skellefteå Airport (SFT) – Also about 3 hours away by bus or car with various flight options. Airport transfers can often be booked in advance from Arvidsjaur to Arjeplog via local services, check your flight transfer options before arrival. Parking & local travel

 

There isn’t a direct bus to our exact event location, but you can reach Arjeplog town centre by public bus and then continue by taxi, rideshare or carpool.

There is plenty parking available for participants who arrive by car.

We encourage visitors from the same areas to carpool, it’s better for the environment and adds to the fun!

🚕 Local transport
Once you arrive in Arjeplog, taxis are available to take you to your destination. You can also find someone to share a ride.

Car

Travel, Parking & Accessibility

Follow Road 95 and take the exit toward Svannäs. After Granlunda, turn left just before the bridge and follow the signs.
